PRODUCTION NOTES
- The reason for Brenda's pregnancy scare and the break-up of Brenda and Dylan was that advertisers for FOX complained that Brenda had sex for the first time and was happy about it. FOX had the writers create a negative consequence of Brenda having sex, which was never the writers' intention and a sexist double standard for Brenda vs. Brandon's first time having sex earlier in Season 1.[2]
