Cliff Yeager is a recurring character in Season 7 of Beverly Hills, 90210. He is portrayed by Greg Vaughan.
Character[]
Cliff is a former naval officer from New York, who works as a fireman in Los Angeles. He's introduced during the episode Housewarming and saved Donna Martin during a wildfire in the Hollywood Hills while she was rescuing a deer. After she received a medal for her heroism, Cliff and Donna started dating.
They went on a hike and camped out in the woods, getting to know each other until Cliff broke the news that he was quitting the fire department and going to work on an oil rig off the coast of Louisiana. He left town, but asked Donna to write him in case he ever made it back.
Cliff returned on Valentine's Day of the next year and found Donna to be with David Silver. He stated that if she wasn't married, he was still in the game and asked her to dinner. His presence created problems between David and Donna, but in the end, she chose David and Cliff left town to work for Disney World in Orlando, Florida as their head of safety.
