Dick Harrison is a recurring character in Season 7 of Beverly Hills, 90210, portrayed by Dan Gauthier.

Dick is a smart, somewhat smarmy at times, member of Beta Gamma Beta and a senior at California University. He's a skilled rower on his fraternity's team and becomes interested in Clare. He plans to go to grad school at Stanford.

Dick goes to the party thrown by Mark Reese at his Hollywood Hills home. He pursued Clare Arnold, much to the chagrin of Steve Sanders. When Clare agreed to go to a Halloween party at the Peach Pit After Dark, Steve tried to counter by hiring an escort, but it backfired on him, causing Clare to get closer to Dick. When Steve found out that Dick was on a rowing team, he challenged him against the brothers from KEG, much to Dick's amusement. However, Steve's team held their own against Dick's team, who barely coasted to victory. After the race, Clare went back to Steve after seeing how dedicated he had become.

Dick later befriended Steve and started dating Ellen Fogerty. He joined Steve and Brandon for a three-man basketball tournament. However, he had begun doing different kinds of drugs and it had begun to take hold of him. He overdosed on heroin in the bathroom at the Peach Pit After Dark and, despite efforts by Cliff Yeager to resuscitate him, Dick died. As a result of his death, David Silver and Valerie Malone were under suspicion for distributing drugs through their club. There was a vigil held at the After Dark, where Steve made a nice speech about Dick and everyone memorialized him.

Clare Arnold

Clare likes that Dick seems more bookish than Steve, mostly as Steve flirts with other girls and Dick has his interest solely focused on Clare, although Donna tries to flirt with him seeing as she's the single one. Clare later finds that she likes Dick and, feeling fed up with Steve's schemes, she breaks things off with Steve and starts dating Dick. They spend some time together and Clare started participating as the Cox for the Beta Gamma Beta team.
