Fearless is the 7th episode of Season 7 of Beverly Hills, 90210.
Synopsis[]
Steve declares war on Clare when she dates someone else; Donna's new fireman friend (Greg Vaughn) assists her sorority's Halloween event; Kenny (Joey Gian) is a no-show at the reopening of Valerie's club.
Recap[]
Kenny tries to buy Valerie off to terminate her pregnancy and stay out of his life. She extorts $100,000 from him and when he advises that the funds will be withheld until the abortion, she personally delivers a bag of diapers to his wife, Diane. Kenny finally gives in and pays off Valerie. Firefighter Cliff Yaeger volunteers to help Donna’s sorority, Alpha House, at their haunted house. Donna is impressed with how he handles and helps a young boy overcome his fear in the haunted house. They go together to the Halloween concert at After Dark, and even though they miss the headline act, they dance romantically. Steve is jealous that Clare is willingly spending time with egotistical DICK HARRISON, a Phi Beta Kappa fraternity boy and crew team member. Nat convinces Steve to use an escort service and buy a date to make Clare jealous.
Through a series of mistakes, Steve does not get the girl of his choice but she ends up perfect for his ruse. Clare finds out that Steve has paid for his date and assumes that she is a hooker. Ultimately, Steve is unsuccessful in winning Clare back and turns down her suggestion of an open relationship. Tracy turns down Brandon’s invitation to the After Dark Halloween party and they both show up alone. They spend time together at the club and although Brandon does not want to start another workplace romance, he is attracted to Tracy. David’s father tries to get him to come to Palm Springs for the weekend and celebrate his grandfather’s birthday. David declines saying he must emcee the Halloween party; he is torn about the decision. David’s drinking escalates. Later Mel calls with the news that David’s grandfather died of a heart attack.
