Angela is a member of the Progressive Party on the campus of California University and meets with Brandon Walsh at the behest of Josh Richland, regarding Brandon becoming a Freshman representative for the party in the student Senate. Angela planned to get him elected, but was unimpressed with his friendship with Steve Sanders and the KEG fraternity. Later, when Brandon and Angela clashed on issues, Brandon walked out on the party.
