PRODUCTION NOTES
- Aaron Spelling asked the writers to cut out a goodnight kiss following Donna & D'Shawn's date, because "it made his housekeeper uncomfortable" aka racism, racism, racism. This made showrunner Charles Rosin realise that they would never be able to pursue the planned romance between the characters.[1]
- Brandon Douglas, who previously portrayed Mike Ryan over the course of Season 4, refused to play a 'gay character', saying it would 'ruin his career'.[1]
