Character
Karla is the niece of Anna Rodriguez, the maid of Jim and Cindy Walsh. With Anna's help to convince Jim and Cindy Walsh, she uses their address as a way to attend West Beverly Hills High School temporarily while she awaits to testify at the trail involving a drive-by shooting near Dogtown, where she does volunteer work at a rec center. However, she resides in Pomona.
She is very defensive about racial issues, but softens and begins to date Brandon. They have their ups and downs, but after the killer confesses to the crime she witnessed, she goes home to live with her family and says a fond farewell to Brandon.
