Quotes[edit | edit source]
- 〉I'll never forgive myself for what happened to you〈
- —Abby to Valerie
- 〉I love you so much. I've always loved you, you know that. It's just every time I look into your eyes I can't help but see him, coming into my bedroom, feeling him touching me. Seeing him dead on the bathroom floor. Tom, it's just all mixed up, you know? Me, you — my mother. Him. It's just too much〈
- —Valerie has to ends things with Tom because of her monster father
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Valerie has a nightmare about her father molesting her
- With Tom's support, Valerie confronts her mother with the truth about her childhood:
- Valerie was molested by her father from the time she was 11 years old. Her mother didn't do anything to stop it and claims she didn't know. When Valerie first confronts her, Abby slaps Valerie and defends Victor Malone. When she tries to make amends at the club later, Tom says he knew. Valerie told him when they started dating and he wanted to kill Victor. Instead, he told Valerie to go to the police or Tom would. The night Valerie confronted her father about going to the police, is the night he died
- Kelly writes in the journal Val gave her that she feels alone because she chose herself. Although her voice over first seems to indicate she just misses having the choice between two guys (since she mentions Dylan being in London with Brenda as a result of her choice, not because he wanted to be with Brenda) she later writes that she wants her and Brandon to be destined
- Tracy reveals to Kelly that Brandon kept the engagement ring he bought Kelly, which Kelly didn't know
- Brandon returns the ring and buys Tracy a gift, after running into Kelly who doesn't tell him how she feels. Kelly secretly buys the ring after Brandon returns it
- Val tells Abby she believes Abby didn't know about the sexual abuse
- Chloe throws herself at David, who rejects her
- Donna dates Cliff
- The Chancelor presents CU TV with a commemorative plaque for 100 broadcasts
